Maybe I am not so good at New Year's Resolutions...on the top of my list was to blog more-I am obviously not doing so well. It's never too late too late to "refresh" my resolutions right?
Last week we had Finley's four month check up...yes I said it and can't even believe it! How is my sweet little baby already 4 months old. I hate to think she is getting older and growing up so quickly, but she is so much fun right now! I loved the tiny baby stage, but she is getting such a personality and we LOVE it!
Here are a few things going on with Finley:
She loves to blow bubbles and spit... she is constantly doing this. Often she spits, blows bubbles then gives you the biggest smile afterward. I have been trying to capture it on video but in true Finley style, she cries every time she realizes I am video taping her. When she spits she concentrates really hard and I can't help but laugh at her.
When she gets tired she wants to be held and she rubs on your neck or grips your shirt or necklace. Part of me thinks I should let her just go lay her down when she gets like this, but I know sooner she will not want to be cuddled and held by me.
She is grabbing for everything and loves to lay on her play mat and play with all of her little toys on it.
Finley loves the song Old McDonald... she is cracks up when I sing and dance to it. Her little exersaucer has music on it. Sometimes she will hit the button for this song to play-only when I am not around!
She smiles at almost everyone and loves her dad when he gets home... she opens her entire mouth to smile at him and she will stare at him when he is sitting by her
The dr. started her on rice cereal. She is still not a big fan (surprising as much as she likes to eat) but she is beginning to enjoy it and at least opens her mouth for it. Kyle thinks way more of it ends up on her face than her mouth, but I figure she will learn eventually.
She weighs 13lbs and is 24 inches long-just a growing girl
We love her more each day and can remember life with out her. i promise to my 2 followers I will start blogging more. I really do want to keep up with this for Finley to look back on one day.
